TRAVEL TOKYO-Tokyo Disneyland

We saved the best for last, we planned a magical day for the kids to Tokyo Disneyland. It was our fourth and final full day in Tokyo, and the highlight of the trip. We purchased a 1-Day Disneyland Passport for  ¥21,800 total (Adult ¥8,400 & Child ¥5,000). Children under 3 enter free, so we only needed three tickets. Do note that ticket prices may vary depending on weekday and weekend, or season.

From the moment we entered, the kids were enchanted by the parade of Disney characters waving excitedly to the kids and danced along the streets. Depends on luck, the kids get to meet the Disney characters and even get a photo with them.

Even though some rides had long waiting times, their Tokyo Disney Resort Apps help us make restaurant reservations, view the park's map and wait times so that we can plan our rides according. The kids enjoyed the giant carousel the most.

Lunch - Restaurant Hokusai

For lunch, we chose to enjoy Japanese cuisine at Restaurant Hokusai. The queue was long but the service was efficient and friendly, making the wait worthwhile. The food was delicious and what made it special were the subtle Disney details in the presentation. This is something that truly elevated the dining experience inside the park.

Evening - Night Parade & Fireworks

As evening fell, we stayed back for the night parade with dazzling light shows, Disney characters and music. It would have been the perfect way to wrap up our Tokyo trip with the fireworks show, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to weather. A little regret for us, but the parade itself still left us with magical memories.

After a fun filled day, we wanted a hearty meal to end our Tokyo trip. A quick Google search led us to Toriifune, a cozy yakitori restaurant near our hotel. Open late into the evening, it served perfectly grilled skewers paired with sake. Though the restaurant had no English menu, the staff were welcoming, and the food was absolutely spectacular. We indulged a little more than usual, savouring the smoky flavours, and went back to the hotel with happy hears and full stomachs.

And just like that, our four-day Tokyo journey came to an end. Traveling with kids was not always easy but it was incredibly rewarding.  From exploring Asakusa, to watching the Shibuya scramble, crusing Odaiba's waters, marveling at Mount Fuji, and finally living the magic at Disneyland, every moments are the memories we will cherish forever.
