Most of the legendary Kolo Mee such as Oriental Park Kolo Mee or Sin Lian Shin only open in the morning. So what you can do if you suddenly crave for Kolo Mee for supper? Well, Tian Lee Food Court at Jalan Padungan has come to your rescue, as the Kolo Mee stall inside the coffee shop runs till 2-3am. We came here straight upon late arrival in Kuching International Airport to get a quick fix of our Kolo Mee crave.
Aesthetically, this Kolo Mee has captivated my heart. The owner carefully laid out the red coloured char siew, while carefully dashing the minced pork at another side. The taste did not disappoint either. Al-dente noodles and nice seasoning albeit a tad salty. Such a wonderful supper only cost RM 4, and yet it cost merely RM 4.
The only downside is the red colour char siew which we are not fond of. Natural coloured will be more appealing personally.
On top of Kolo Mee, Tien Lee Food Court also houses another stall that sells Char Koay, Nasi Ayam Penyet, Chee Cheong Fun and etc. Nevertheless still the Kolo Mee is the one that impress.
