Ali Nasi Lemak Goreng @ Jalan Lunas, Pulau Tikus, Penang

When you think about Nasi Lemak, it is in the form of sambal glance over the coconut milk steamed rice, then wrapped with banana leaf in pyramid shape right? Ali Coffee Shop has brought the nasi lemak indulgence to another level by having them stir fried, then topped with fried egg. This humble food stall is operating 24 hours daily, located at the simple sheltered space at Jalan Lunas side walk. It served as an alternative sinful supper for us since the day we tried.

This big plate of Nasi Lemak Goreng Special (RM 9) came with stir fried nasi lemak and fried egg, with addition of fried chicken. For the non special version (RM 6), there will be no fried chicken. The chef has added in cabbage as well, a great source of vitamin K for the meal. A little bit of burning kick from the sambal, with the crunchy biting pleasure from anchovies. Pop the egg yolk and letting it ooze all over the rice.

Tom Yum Maggie Biasa (RM 5) was much flavourful comparing to the maggie goreng. Alike their nasi lemak goreng, the chef has added in cabbage and topped with fried egg. For those who enjoy soft maggie texture, you will like this.

Maggie Special (RM 8.50) with fried chicken. The extra fried chicken serve as an extra dish for patron whom prefer a heavier meal.

Roti Osama (RM 7) with Sardin as the main star, layered with bread, sausage and cheese. The combination is then wrapped with thin roti canai and then flooded with mayonnaise and chili sauce.

Roti Hong Kong (RM 5) was standard-ly great. Under the sunny side up, we have sausage and bread. Again, lotsa mayonnaise and chili sauce spread all over the top.
