Penang Bagel's Dream at Campbell Street Georgetown

In the midst of the morning rush, a quick grab-and-go of freshly baked bagel and a good cup of coffee always hit the spot. While walking along Campbell Street, we spotted Bagel Dream an decided to drop in for a quick brunch.

The cafe features an unassuming interior that feels cozy to enjoy some relaxing bites. Their menu is split into two main categories which are sourdough bagel sandwich and the cream cheese series. We also noticed some interesting localized bagel options, like the roti bakar with dip and the peanut butter series.

Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese (RM 10.50)

Cheesy Egg Sourdough Bagel Sandwich (RM 13.50)

We love to enjoy bagel in the classic way with cream cheese, therefore we had the Everything Bagel with cream cheese. Their bagel itself was dense with satisfying exterior crunch. There offers both regular and premium flavoured cream cheese, and you can customize your order by remains the plain bagel option or upgraded to their basic and flavoured varieties.

We also tried the Cheesy Egg sourdough bagel sandwich which was loaded with a generous filling of creamy scrambled eggs and fresh greens. The bagel for this sandwich was on the softer side; while I kind of expecting this to have crackly crust, it was still a delicious combination.

Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast experience. Paired with a hot cup of Americano, it was the perfect fuel to get me ready for the day.

We took away Dill Cheese Flavoured Bagel with cream cheese, crispy cheese crust on the top with a tad of salty that paired with cream cheese also a nice option to have with too.
