1. A Luxury Stay that Trully Feels Like Home

Marriott Executive Apartments Penang offers both one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom apartments options, catering to different travel styles.

For business travellers or couples visiting Penang, the one-bedroom apartment would already feel spacious and comfortable. As a family of four with growing kids, we opted for the two-bedroom apartment, and honestly, it made a huge difference to our overall stay experience.

The moment we stepped into the apartment, we were immediately impressed by the spacious layout. For the room we stayed, on the left sits a fully equipped kitchen and laundry area, followed by a large dining table perfect for family meals, and a cozy living room complete with a huge sofa and television where everyone could unwind together after a long day.

The apartment came with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Our kids happily claimed the twin-bed room while we stayed in the master bedroom featuring a bathtub overlooking the beautiful Gurney coastline.

One thoughful touch we trully appreciated was the adorable B.Duck kids bathroom amenities prepared for our children.

As parents traveling with kids, the in-room laundry facility was a lifesaver. Little kids often stain their clothes quickly, especially having meal or outdoor activities. Having both washing machine and dryer inside the apartment made everything feel so much more convenient. Laundry pods were even prepared for guests.

The fully equipped kitchen also adds another layer of comfort for families or long stay guests. Whether you need to prepare simple meals for toddlers, heat up takeaway food, or store groceries in the full-sized fridge, everything is thoughtfully prepared. The apartment even comes with dishwasher, making cleanup effortless.

It genuinely felt less like staying in a hotel and more like temporarily moving into a beautiful furnished luxury home.

One of our favourite moments during the stay was simply sitting by the window and enjoying the breathtaking sunset views overlooking the coastline formed by Gurney Drive, Gurney Bay and the Andaman Island.

• Carpaccio Di Manzo, ultra thin cut of Wagyu Beef Carpaccio that basically melt in our mouth, topped with arugula, parmigiana Reggiano, tanginess from the balsamic glazed and umami shallot caviar. 
• Zuppa di Funghi, rich and creamy, hearty and earthy mushroom soup
• Insalata Di Rucola, keeping things light with arugula with fresh fig, feta cheese, beetroot vinegar, and toasted walnut to keep our palate refreshing before we march into the mains.
• Bianca E Tartufo, thin, crispy crust wood-fire pizza topped with mascarpone cream, Mozzarella and Parmesan goodness with a hint of Truffle.
• Spaghetti Ai Frutti Di Mare, the homemade squid ink spaghetti is exceptional, perfectly complementing the fresh seafood medley of prawns, scallops, and baby octopus.
• Costolette di Manzo, soft, fall-off-the-bone beef that is rich and flavourful with mashed potatoes as side.
• Kucina Tiramisu,  their signature tableside prepared Tiramisu, coffee-soaked Lady Fingers, topped with Mascarpone,  cocoa powder, coffee liqueur and garnished with a delicate butterfly chocolate.
