Thank you Aura Steak House & Wine Bar for hosting us.
We began our evening with the Homemade Smoke Hamachi Salad, a refreshing mix of fresh greens, house-smoked hamachi, crusted mix nuts and raisin. It was a light and flavourful start, paving the way for the Hokkaido Scallop with Cauliflower Puree. A plate featured four pieces of Grade A scallops, topped with French Caviar and Ikura, offering a luxurious taste of the ocean.

Then came the highlight of the night - the Wagyu T-Bone with a a marbling score of 6/7. We opted for medium rare, and every bite of this 900g beaty (priced at RM 74 per 100g) melted effortlessly in our mouths. The hotstone serving style kept the steam warm, allowing us to sear eat slice lightly before dipping it into their creamy shoyu egg sauce, a perfect balance of richness and umami, Just be sure to cook it on the stone for only five seconds per side to preserve its tenderness. Ours sides was the medley vegetables and sweet potato fries that rounded out the dish perfectly.
If you plan to try their Tomahawk or Wagyu Short Loin, do note that these premium cuts require pre-order, as the smoking process takes time to perfect.
We also sampled two new dishes on the menu, the Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder and Fruit Wood Chicken. The lamb shoulder, marinated for 24 hours and slow-cooked for eight, was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. Meanwhile, the Fruit Wood Chicken which also requires pre-order, it is smoked for 46 minutes over lychee wood, infusing the meat with a delicate, aromatic fragrance that is truly unique.

Our evening conculded with a show-stopping Bombe Alaska. As the server poured rum and set it flame, the dessert lit up beautifully - a moment reminiscent of fireworks at Disneyland. The dessert itself features a crisp meringue shell made of egg white, encasing smooth ice cream and a biscuit base. While the adults relished this fiery finale, our kids enjoyed their sweet scoops of ice cream, making it a delightful experience for the whole family.
