The roadside burger stalls at Sungai Dua, Man Burger are no ordinary Ramly joints. They have elevated the humble street burger to a whle new level with their now viral Pataya Burger. They are bold enough to set up stalls in front of McDonald's, literally just a street away. A daring move that has won the admiration of locals.
While Pattaya is a beautiful beach city in Thailand that Malaysians love visiting, Pataya Fried Rice is something unique to Malaysia, and now Pataya Burger make it another proudly Malaysian creation. At Man Burger, their unique Pataya Burger and exciting grilled selections have the favourite spot for after-dark bites.
There are actually two roadside stalls here, one serving the familiar Ramly-style burgers, and another focusing on grilled specialities like Tandoori Burger, Korean Spicy Tandoori Burger and even Waygu Beef Burger.
As the sun sets, the air filled with the smoky aroma of the sizzling patties, drawing burger loves in for these indulgent, street-side creations that you would not find it anywhere else.

The Famous Pataya Chicken Burger
I was caught off guard when I unwrapped my Pataya Chicken Burger. It was not the usual bun but a giant egg wrap, just like how fried rice is done in Nasi Goreng Pattaya. Took a mouth bite and I was sold. The eggy fragrance wrapped around the bun, with juicy, savoury patty as the centrepiece, drenched in messy sauces, and their signature coleslaw. The coleslaw was the game-changer. It was creamy, crunchy and refreshing, adding a contrast of textures and flavours that made the burger so addictive.
More Temptations From the Grill
We would not resist on trying their grilled menu. We had the Crispy Chicken Egg Burger. Just as the name suggets, it came with a crispy exterior and tender chicken inside. Imagine a McDeluxe but with Ramly-style flair of sweet onions and special sauces. It was savoury, flavourful and utterly satisfying.
Eat at your own risk if you wanted to try Korean Spicy Tandoori Burger like we do. When we opened the box, the burger was literally banjir (flooded) in fiery Korean sauce. We had no choice but to tackle it with fork and knife. The chicken itself was beautifully grilled with charred edges, juicy and smokey. The flavour was fantastic but the spiciness was so intense that it felt evil. It was delicious but this burger leaves us questioning if our stomach can survive round two.
