For this prosperous year of Dragon in 2024, AC Hotel by Marriott Penang will be having exclusive banquet menu for both lunches and dinner. Regardless of a small group of gathering or a large group of corporate dinner up to 400 people, AC Marriott is able to cater for your needs. This menu is crafted exclusively by Hong Kong Master Banquet Chef Ng Wing Lum, together with group Chinese Chef Bryan Cheow.Â
There are 3 menus being offered, namely:Â
Dragon Reunion Set - RM 1888++ for 10 persons
Fortune Reunion Set - RM 1588++ for 10 persons
Prosperity Reunion Set - RM 1388++ for 10 persons

First the Fried Seabass with XO Sauce definitely deserves an applaud. It was fried to perfection, exhibiting crisp skin while still maintaining a layer of moist fish flesh. The XO sauce gave an elevation of umami flavour, along with a slight hint of spiciness and crispy sensation to the fish.
Wok Fried Cereal Butter Prawn is another notable dish of the night, with fresh prawns accompanied with crunchy and aromatic cereal flakes lingering to the prawns.Â
Braised Duck with Special Sauce is one of another dish that gives the flair of Cantonese cuisine during that night. Its special sauce is unique, akin to our typical "lor duck" flavour yet brimming with some spices scent.Â
The Fortune Reunion Set also includes classic Chinese must have during Chinese New Year, including Salmon Yee Sang, Double Boiled Soup with Seafood, Braised Broccoli with Black Mushroom & Black Fungus and Fragrant Glutinosu Rice Wrapped with Lotus Leaf.
Dinner of the night ended with Deep Fried Nian Gao with Yam along with Lotus Seed, Red Dates, Lily Bulbs with Longan Syrup.
