The moment we stepped into Hwa Ting, we were awestruck by the beautiful interior that doesn't depict selling wanton noodle. The earthy wood and shades of green tone with the heritage floor print gives out the modern vintage vibes. They have 30 years of history selling wanton noodle at Air Itam and recently moved it to here. We were delighted to find stir fry spicy hotpot menu that incorporate the springy egg noodle we usually find in wanton noodle.

The Kochabi Egg noodle are cooked to the right springy texture, well coated with the dark soy sauce that reminisce the wanton mee of the old days. The charsiew and bak choy sides are great but we wasn't impressed by the fried prawn wan ton though. However, the sides we added on, Fresh Prawn Dumpling soup went really well with the noodle. It was huge, packed with big prawn and filling makes every bite so satisfying.

The Stir Fried Hot Pot was really hot and spicy though, that come with huge prawn and generous topping. It goes really well with the egg noodle, does not feel greasy at all. Overall, this is a pleasant find that probable be one of our option when we crave for wanton noodle.
