Fancy an afternoon high tea in Penang? Recently we just checked out an Instagrammable place for afternoon high tea at Prestige Hotel's Glasshouse. With the name "Afternoon Affairs", this place serves as a sweet escape for your afternoon escapade from the city hustles.
The high tea per set is priced at RM 128+ and is available daily from 3pm-6pm. However, an advance booking is required. As Prestige Hotel is celebrating Pinktober to raise awareness for breast cancer patients. The high tea set will be embellished in pinkish colour and taking a new name - Pinkie Promise Affairs.

The Afternoon Affaris High Tea in Prestige Hotel is served in the convention 3 tiers - with the top tiers come with a pair of traditonal English scones and jam.
Meanwhile, the second tiers has cake pop coated with strawberry chocolate, and le choux, and interestingly they also incorporating local elements - smoke duck sweet sauce in bun and sardine puff into the high tea.
The bottom tiers then has canele, madeleine, shortcakes, tiramisu and macarons.
You will then get to select TWG of your choice.
All in all, the dining atmosphere and ambiance in The Glasshouse is perfect for high tea. Its modern and sophisticated design, along with white and clean paint makes it comfortable to sit down and dine in. As for the high tea set, the selection of the items are fine but personally we would prefer a smaller biting size that fit nicely into mouth within a single time.
