After a long week, consider give yourself a good treat at Amari SPICE Penang with their newly launched BBQ Bounty Buffet Dinner happening every Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm - 10.30pm. For RM 148 nett per adult and RM 98 nett for senior citzen aged 65 years old and above & child aged 6-12, you get to enjoy a variety of great dishes, and some of the highlights including Seafood on Ice, "live" BBQ pit at the open kitchen cooking your selection of meat and fresh seafood, sashimi and others.

As the buffet name implies, the hightlight of the buffet are the varieties of seafood, prepared in both grilled / BBQ or served freshly on ice. The selections offered were vast, and we were in a conundrum where and what to begin with.
The seafood on ice section looks appetizing with the fresh crayfish, crabs, horseshoe crabs, prawns, mussels, oysters and more. The culinary team also prepares some selections of sashimi to give diners a refreshing selection of the conventional fresh seafood.
If you prefer a more flavourful seafood, go for the grilled seafood at the BBQ counter. Savour some of the smoky crayfish, BBQ prawns, bamboo clams, crabs and even grilled eggplants, which is a rare sighting among the dishes in hotel buffet.
Although the seafood in BBQ section are exciting, let's not forget about the hot dishes counters, which features more seafood in localized flavour. Among them are curry sotong, rendang, curry crabs, Nestum prawns and others.
Those fancy seafood also can customize your own bowl of seafood porridge, where you can enjoy it with some abalones!
