Royale Chulan Penang has launched a seafood theme buffet dinner named Triton Seafood Buffet starting 19th May 2023. In this buffet, there will be aplenty of fresh seafood delicately displayed at the main island in the restaurant, while other popular goodies such as roasted lamb, dim sum and sushi also made cameo apperance in the buffet. Triton Seafood Buffet is available every Friday and Saturday, priced at RM 99+ per adult and RM 79+ for seniors & children.Â

Major attention of the buffet is in the center island, where diners can get a feast on a variety of fresh seafood ranging from scallops, mussels, crabs, octopus and clams on the ice. On top of that, there are chilled prawns, smoked salmon, sushi, crayfish, soft shell crabs and a variety of appetizers and fruits too sharing the same space in the large island counter.
If you are slightly adventurous on your taste buds, you can try on the algae. It is a rare apperance on any buffet in the hotels.Â
Other goodies worth trying among the buffet line are roasted lamb and Salmon Wellington.Â
You may also order a plate of Korean style seafood BBQ that consists of bamboo clams, squids, octopus, sea snails, clams, golden scallops and mussels. It is satisfying to get the chef stir up a plate of piping hot seafood for your feasting.Â
Locals' favourites Char Koay Teow and Pho soup are available too.Â
Meanwhile on the hot dishes counters are a range of dishes such as stir fried crabs with glass noodles, pranwns, samon, brinjals, curry squid, mussels and others.Â
To compliement the Triton Seafood Buffet theme, a variety of the dessert is purposely made in blue colour to attract the eyes of diners. Even the chocolate foundue fountain has blue chocolate flowing to the astonishments of diners.Â
