Christmas and New Year Dinner Celebrations @ Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Penang

The prestigious and award winning restaurant in Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa offers 5 course dinner on Christmas eve and Christmas day (24th & 25th December) priced at RM 478 nett per person. Then there is Indulgence Set Dinner priced at RM 508 nett per person on New Year's Eve. 

All set dinner comes complimentary with a glass of champagne or mocktail.

The 5 course meal on 24th & 25th December starts with a Foie Gras Terrine, followed by roasted chestnut veloute soup, then choose a main course within the 3 selections of grilled wagyu beef tenderloin, lamb cutlet or half lobster thermidor, then ended with a chocolate hazelnut Buche de Noel, and chocolate pralines and cookies. 

New Year's Eve menu offers a slight changes as the dinner starts with a Boston lobster salad, followed by oscietra caviar, then choose a main course within 3 selections of Australian lamb loin, wagyu beef rossini or grilled cod fish fillet, then ended with a la noisette, chocolate pralines and cookies. 

For a happening Christmas eve, Christmas Day or New Year's Eve celebration, hop to Spice Market Cafe for their Eat-All-You-Can dinner at RM 298 nett per adult and RM 149 nett per child. You can expect free flow of house wines, beer, chilled juice and soft drinks. 

Another celebration spot at Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang will be Eat-All-You-Can festive barbecue at Pinang Restaurant & Bar. The price varies on different day so do check out their posters.

The hotel also offers exclusive treats such as Baked BeefWellington Au Jus, Baked Salmon Coulibiac and Roasted Lamb Leg. On top of that, assorted Christmas cookies, Yule Log cakes and Christmas fruit cakes are available too. The takeaway starts from 1st to 31st December 2022 and exclusive treats need 48 hours advance booking.
