After One - Pet Friendly Pork Free Café @ Kuala Lumpur

After One is a new cafe located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, off Jalan Yap Kwang Seng. The cafe offers a pet friendly, vegan friendly and pork free settings, so it is not a surprise to see Muslim and pets appearing at the same time in the cafe. Though located in the golden prime area, parking is not an issue as there is a parking lot adjacent to After One which is subjected to per entry payment. 

After One offers a clean, modern and relaxing cafe vibes with different seating area - indoor, outdoor and patio area. We kind of enjoy the outdoor area. It was spacious with appropriate distance between each table, and there are 2 swinging chairs that we managed to enjoy a few rounds.

The menu here is pretty expensive, offering a wide range of selections with a few choices within the same range. As we had a late breakfast (considered lunch), we ordered lesser food here to prevent bloating.

The Harissa Chicken Chop (RM 32) here is pretty good in taste. Its skin is slightly covered with red chilli pepper that offers a very mild hot sensation, while the meat is cooked to perfection and free of any hot elements. A small pot of hot chili pepper paste is served at the side should you need to increase the spiciness. 

We can't resist the temptation upon seeing this beautifully crafted Magnum Dark Chocolate Cake (RM 20). The taste was equally great as its aesthetic too. Highly recommend you to try it out if you come to visit After One.
