When Iconic Hotel Penang launches C-Bites Buffet in 2021, it was a craze and the responses were overwhelming. Many people came after their fresh seafood in the buffet line, along with the various actions stalls such as Teppanyaki, Sashimi and many more. Therefore, coming in June 2022, Iconic Hotel Penang launches C-Bites Buffet 2.0 again and you should never miss it out again. In fact, the hotel has launches it in May 2022 and it has fully booked within days.Â
Currently, the buffet is priced at RM 99+ per adult and is available every Friday and Saturday. Be hurry and quick to book your slot as all slots are almost taken in the month of Jun!Â

There are so many seafood in a variety of format offered in C-bites Buffet 2.0 by Iconic Hotel Penang. Among them are fresh seafood from the ice, grilled fish, sashimi and seafood Teppanyaki. The buffet line even take a notch up in their seafood choices by offering Seafood Char Koay Kak and Curry Fish Head.Â
You should grab the seafood on the ice as they serve really fresh seafood such as mussels, prawns and crabs. I have seen some guests taking a whole plate of prawns, maybe more than a dozen of them in the plate!Â
Too much seafood is too plain and you need some other variety of food also right? Fret not, as the hotel famous auto-rotating roasting machine is churning out roasted duck. Apart from that, you can have the usual buffet fares such as cheeses, cold cuts, varieties of hot dishes in main counter, sushi and even a big pot of biryani rice with a whole chicken!Â
Of course, there are hot soup, breads and noodles too.Â
As for dessert wise, the hotel has prepared a range of delicate desserts as you can see in the photo. Remember to check out the exterior area of the restaurant as there are more desserts being offered there, including fondues, and the least expected dessert is here too - Korean Red Bean Fish Shaped Dessert aka Bungeoppang! It is so nice to get this dessert here in the hotel!
