Koffiehouz @ Autocity, Prai, Penang

There should not be any problems to find a place for dining in Autocity Prai. After all, Autocity has abundance of restaurants and cafes, including some familiar big restaurant chains. However, we were looking for somewhere cozier and relaxing, and this is how we found Koffieheouz. Koffiehouz is located at the edge of Autocity, and its facade has some sprawling trees and leaves. Meanwhile, the interior of the cafe is interesting with some vintage antiques. Koffiehouz offers a small but suffice menu, and the forte here definitely are their coffees. 

The small menu in Koffiehouz helped us to facilitate the choice. We were partially full, so we just ordered a Cheesy K-Chop (RM 17) and a Chicken Slice Omelette Sandwich (RM 4.90). At RM 17, the chicken chop did come with a generous portion and made it a good bargain with its price tag. It appears to be a microwaved food though, as the heat was intense in the center of meat while rather warm at the skin. 

While nothing is wrong by spreading a thin layer of cheese on the chicken chop, the overall seasoning was a bit overwhelming. It was too pepppery to enjoy and we choked due to the pungent pepper scent for a few times. Well, to me the chicken chop was meant to be a quick fix for your stomach and it was alright for that price.

The sandwich was okay though. Good to grab it as something if you are after some light meal.

The coffee machine in Koffiehouz gave us a deep impression and it tells how much the cafe emphasize on their drinks, particularly coffee. Indeed, the Cappuccino (RM 9) and Ice Chocolate (RM 11) we had were good. 

It was quite a pleasant time in Koffiehouz and the little one was having fun too. She was so indulging in playing lego and the vibes in the cafe somehow make us feel relaxed.
