While many of these big names congregated in Georgetown areas, there is a modest stall Nasi Kandar restaurant in Relau which we find it worthy mention - Yusuf Nasi Kandar. It appears that Yusuf Nasi Kandar has a connection with the renowned Hameediyah restaurant in Lebuh Campbell as shared by many in the internet.Â
Yusuf Nasi Kandar showcases a great variety of dishes for selection to be paired with your choice of white rice or biryani rice.Â
Among the popular selections are fried chicken, chicken kurma, chicken kapitan, prawns, fried sotong, curry fish and many more. Also, do not miss out their fried bitter gourd, which are fried to crisp and thin texture.
We enjoyed the mixed curry brimming with richness deriving from spices. At the same time, the mixed curry was not greasy and make it pretty sleek in taste.

The Murtabak here is equally good. The chef was skillful to make the murtabak with thin skin which managed to held the generous filling. It was humongous in size too, ensuring you will get a full stomach with just a piece of murtabak.
Overall, we thought Yusuf Nasi Kandar is worthy explore if you have not tried it out. The price may be slightly on a high side but it is worth the value.Â
