Generation X, Y and Baby Boomers, do you recall those variety of biscuits in traditional metal containers in markets where we used to buy biscuits by weight? Although this scene still persist in certain pasar malam but we believe it is fading slowly. Nevertheless, we are in surprised upon discovery of a newly minted shop in Jelutong market that offer biscuits via this traditional method.
The shop name is Like Biscuits Trading 铺饼客来, offering more than 50 type of biscuits. Some of the biscuits sold here are own brands, while some are local popular brands. Filled cookie rolls, bread sticks, chocolate cookies, cream cookies are among the likes available here.
This is one of the traditional value and shop that we should appreciate and showcase the younger generations on its existence.
