If you are yearning to enjoy Western food without spending too much money, then the newly open Will Western Delight may be a great option. The shop was previously operating near to Bukit Gambir but has since relocated to Jalan Masjid Negeri (opposite Shell petrol station at Island Glades) since July 2019, taking over the shoplot of "Monkey Legend". You can get western food such as Oriental Chicken Chop starting at RM 11.50, and perhaps the relatively affordable price has garnered a strong crowd to the shop since its inception. However, they appeared to be overwhelmed by the exodus of crowd, and resulted bad reviews in Facebook due to slow services and long waiting time up to an hour. During our visit, we were served fast but service crews were slow in cleaning the tables and attending to customers.Â

First thing first, the generous portion of the western food deserves a compliment. Every plates come with some fries, a piece of toasted bread, red beans, cucumber slices along with the choice of your protein. Our Hawaiian Chicken (RM 13.50) and Pork Cordon Blue (RM 14) were alright in taste. We enjoyed the bits of sweetness contributed by the pineapple to the tender chicken meat, though the sauce might be little bit excessive.Â
On the other hand, Pork Cordon Blue totally exceed my expectation (I had medium expectations only). I have had a few Cordon Blue in normal hawker or restaurants but it usually ended up with disappointment with funny cheese flavour, hard cheese texture or odd taste but everything was alright here. The piece of protein was crispy in texture, then its filling comprises of cheese oozes slightly upon slicing it. Furthermore, the meat was not too dry and just nice. Overall, we were satisfied with what we ordered.
Nevertheless, the drink options are weak. Addition of choices other than soft drinks or canned drinks will help.
