Burgers are commonly available in restaurants and cafes but one burger joint that set the standard high with affordable price tags is Ric's Burgers. Having established the outlet in Georgetown and The One previously, Ric's Burger now set foot in Arena Curve Bayan Lepas. The burger outlet offers a small menu of a variety of burgers in a relatively simple restaurant setting, and suitable for a quick fix of stomach instead of long lingering due to rather humid temperature. Apparently, all the burgers are prepared on the spot upon ordering, ensuring you able to taste the burger at its freshest taste.Â

We had a Fat Piglet (RM 15.90), which appears to be an upgraded version of Rics Original Pork Burger (RM 10.90) with an addition of cheddar cheese, bacon, omega-3-egg on top of the usual pork patty, caramelized onions and Ric's sauce. We feel the pork patty is nicely executed by having nice seasoning and texture, which further enhanced by the unique aroma by the decent quantity of caramelized onions. The semi-cooked egg yolk of omega-3-egg also contributed a nice creaminess to the overall taste.
If you are not keen on having pork, then your only option is The Little Catch (RM 15.90), featuring a piece of fried fish fillet instead of pork patty. The fish fillet is nicely fried and retained a good moisture content, which render a fluffy filling of the fillet.Â
Overall, both burgers are good in taste. If the burger buns are being replaced by nicely toasted English muffin buns, then it would be perfect.Â
