The compound near to Olive Hotel welcomes a new kopitiam amid of various cafes and restaurants, which allows the patrons nearby access to a much economical dining option. Named Next Door Kopitiam, it does not host a great number of stalls but there are some nice dishes here, in particularly the Blue Pea Flower Indonesian Rice with a price tag of RM 7. It comes with a piece of delicious Indonesian chicken, peanuts & anchovies, hard boiled egg and 2 different types of tasty sambal.
The kopitiam also offers Char Koay Teow but it was mediocre. It lacks the char scent and has too much bean sprouts for our liking. However, one thing worthy mention is the chef uses thin style of koay teow.
