The stall is manned by daughter of Madam 黄碧真, who is known for making delicious Chai Kueh and sell at the market in Permatang Tinggi. Every piece of Chai Kueh here is freshly made, and you'd better be here early if you were to enjoy this delicious Chai Kueh!

Madam 黄碧真 and her daughter wakes up early in the morning 4am to make Chai Kueh everyday. Sometimes during weekends, the demands rose exponentially and they have to prepare Chai Kueh as early as 12am! All these efforts are translated into pieces of Chai Kueh you see in the stall.

They key feature of the Chai Kueh here is the soft, chewy and translucent like sheen skin containing chives, yam beans or yam as the filling. As shared by the stall owner, yam is one of the most popular items here, while Teochew people has a special affection toward chives Chai Kueh. Meanwhile, Penang Island folks are more keen to have the traditional yam beans.
