The cafe with a pink fever offers a new high tea in March with a theme Fruit Paradise, featuring abundant choices of cute little desserts made in fruit theme. Priced at RM 98+ for 2 pax including a choice of black coffee or selection or tea, you can have a relaxing afternoon here by enjoying this new high tea set.
In addition, the cafe also offers a range interesting ala carte dishes, including the signature Chicken Mole, a traditional Mexican cuisine, and a range of other delicacies. All are available at the price that you can find in usual cafes.

Do not get us wrong. The high tea set is served in the conventional 3 tiers. However we were having fun and deconstructed it to plates for flat-lay photography purposes. Although the loses the glamour factor but it added a rustic feeling.
And, you can definitely enjoy high tea at Crumbles & Cream in this deconstructed way too!

The first tier of the high tea set contains some sweet treats in larger pieces. We enjoyed the laichi cakes, the mild sweet macarons and the mangoes eclair. Harmony balance is being introduced by having acidity from the fruits and sweetness from the sugary desserts.
Venturing into second tier of the high tea set unveil a more solid sweet dessert that can be consumed in small bites.Â
Third tier offers savoury selection with some peculiar yet delicious combination. For instance, salmon canapes are common but who would have thought having strawberry topping tamago? A clash between the Asian flavour (Tamago) with Western fruits (strawberries). It is unique on its own, and you can have a taste of it by coming here.

Crumbles & Cream also offers some serious treats to your stomach, shall you feel really hungry and decided to have so main dishes and snacks.Â
The signature Mexican dish - Chicken Mole (RM 28.90+) is being brought here. If you have been watching Masterchef US, you will know mole sauce is difficult to execute. It has chocolate base, yet at the same time offer chili spiciness, with many other ingredients. It makes a perfect pair to the chicken cutlets, and of course the fries are enjoyable!Â
So far, not many restaurants in Penang is serving Chicken Mole.Â
We gave a shot to The Impasta (RM 28.90+) that looked and tasted like Lasagne but it was something different. It tasted more solid than Lasagne but offered a firmer taste, but with mixture of capsicum that yields a subtle taste - sweet, fruity, a slight bitterness. More importantly, it introduces a crunchy texture to the pasta.
The never disappointing item is Salmon Fish Skin (RM 15.90+). Chef Jerry has did a marvelous job in frying them and it still can retained the crispy texture after hours. Suitable to order it as small bites and have a long chat with your friends and family at the cafe.Â

For a sweet end, get a Naughty Blondie (RM 22.90+). It is a complicated dessert to enjoy, as it is topped with ice cream with a chocolate cake, then full with nuts and strawberries.Â
Not the usual dessert you can get elsewhere.
Of course, there are many items in Crumbles & Cream that no where else offer.
