The automated revolving grill bar and smokeless barbecue method is brought all the way from Beijing China, and the outlet in Gurney Paragon marks the first ever in Malaysia after more than 40 outlets established in China.
Amber, the owner of Long Time Ago barbecue bar shared that people in ancient time barbecue their meats to taste the originality of it. Therefore, the restaurant is combining modern technology by utilizing automated revolving grilling with barbecue to ensure an evenly barbecued meat, allowing you to savour the meat at its most original taste.
What you need to do is easy. Just look at the menu, pick you preferred meat and just put them on the grilling bar!
The signature here is their Mangolian Lamb Skewers, and there are more other mouthwatering dishes such as scallops, oysters, sishamo or variety of skewers - beef ribeye skewers, pork belly skewers, chicken thigh skewers, spicy intestine and etc. Every skewers have been well seasoned, and you could practically sniff the aromatic scent upon the tray of meat is served at your table.
We can taste slight brininess of the meat skewers, and there was not even a patch of charred area on the meat which we loathed!
If you feel it was too carnivorous to have so much meat at one instance, refresh your taste buds with some greens such as lady fingers, enoki mushrooms, corns or even garlic in between the dishes
Just in case you feel too lazy, you may order some readily available items such as lamb racks or fish skins to be consumed immediately upon served.
Depending on your preference, you can season your skewers with 3 different condiments. Personally, we prefer to go original without any seasoning.
