In the auspicious year of 2019, both Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya has prepared buffet dinner for you to celebrate Chinese New Year 2019, and Steamboat Dinner is available at Seberang Jaya to let you gather around the pot of bubbling broth and reunion with your family.

At one glance, here is the promotion available for both Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya. In-house guests get a good deal for 20% off, and all guests can top up RM 70 for a bottle of red wine.
Reunion literally translate into "gather round" in Chinese, which coincide with how the steamboat is being conducted by having all members gathering around the hot pot. At Sunway Seberang Jaya, the steamboat will be featuring counters such as "seafood on ice" that includes slipper lobsters and tiger prawns, meat & seafood counter with crabs, fish maws, meat slices and others. There will be marinated fillet mignon, fish fillets, squids and even seafood otak-otak in the barbecue counter.
Enjoy all you can in the steamboat style buffet dinner with herbal chicken and tom yam soup. The tom yam soup is so addictive!

You can expect a range of delicacies on the buffet spread such as chili garlic crabs, deep fried butter tiger prawns, steamed seabass, Chinese authentic lamb curry, Szechuan hot and spicy soup, black chicken soup with lotus roots and a lot more selection. Of course, you would not want to miss out the roasted meats with a choice of duck or chicken at the carving station.
Other than the premium fares in the buffet spread, there will be some local food that are missed dreadfully by Penangites who are residing elsewhere other than Penang. The selections include local favorite Hokkien Mee and Yong Tau Foo. After that, get some desserts with a fair mixture of both Oriental and Western influences to end the night.
