Tempus Two Blanc De Blanc Sparkling Australia |
Alaskan crab & Avocado, Roma Tomato, Beluga Caviar Salsa |
We began the night by sipping the refreshing Tempus Two Blanc De Blanc Sparkling Wine from Australia, pairing with Alaskan crab and the delightful colour and taste comprise of Roma tomato and avocado, topped with Beluga Caviar.
Hole in the Water Marlborough Sanoignon Blanc New Zealand |
French Escargot Ragout with Chanterelles in Golden Filo cup |
Double boiled essence of Quail, Ginseng Root, Wolf Berries, Root Vegetables |
Next, we literally fly to New Zealand when tasting the Hole in the Water Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. We thought this wine has a very interesting name, it came with smooth and vibrant taste. French Escargot was nicely seasoned, with Chanterelles mushroom, served in a cute Golden Filo cup, beautifully presented on top the boat looking cucumber.
The last white wine we sampled was the Cranswick Estate Chardonnay from New South Wales, Australia. Clean acidity of this wine is surprisingly blended well with the rich and strong double boiled ginseng root with quail essence. The fusion of western and oriental that will blow your mind.
Angove Organic Merlot South Australia |
Festive Hazulnut Crusted Butter Turkey Roll with Foie Gras, Glazed Chestnut, oven roasted Brussel Sprouts |
While we were marching into the main courses of the night, we were served with Angove Organic Merlot from South Australia. This ruby red wine with magenta hue gave a plummy and cherry sensation on the palates. Christmas is just around the corner, therefore the Chef has thoughtfully prepared us Turkey roll stuffed with crusted hazelnut. The tenderness of the Turkey was carefully taken care, compliment well with the foie gras and glazed chestnut.
Angove Muscle Man Shiraz South Australia |
Pan Seared Venison Medallion with Roasted Pumpkin Puree and Manuka honey |
Another red wine from Angove we had was the Muscle Man Shiraz, a much complex and tannin with intense finish. Pan seared Venison Medallion was served in medium rare doneness, given a touch of sweetness from the pumpkin puree and manuka honey.
Cranswick Lakefield Pink Moscato New South Wales, Australia |
Dark and white Christmas log, sugar Cinnamon dust |
Our wonderful evening ended with Cranswick Lakefield Pink Moscato wine from New South Wales, Australia. Beautiful rose pink wine that would steal every girl's heart, comes with sweet strawberry and cherry finishing. We ended our evening with this festive-season-must-have, dark and white chocolate Christmas log cake.
Thanks to Mr. Anil Kumar Nair, Director of Food & Beverage for the great singing performance that filled our evening with joys.
