Swens Pastry & Cafe @ Jelutong, Penang

For Swens Pastry & Cafe at Pusat Perniagaan Nova Jelutong, their story begins when the owner developed a passion into pastry making. They started to sell online and the business gets brisk, therefore prompting them to setup a physical shop and allowing them to develop their passion to a greater height. Swens Pastry & Cafe focuses on a small menu, mainly concentrated on pastries, sandwiches, appetizers and some coffee with a friendly price tag.

The cafe occupies a relatively smaller place that host up to a few tables and co-joint with the neighbouring Thai restaurant, Thai-Phoon. Menu is small thus it makes Swens Pastry & Cafe an ideal stop for a sweet end after your meal. Good thing is everything is homemade, thus the flavours you get to enjoy here is unique as well.

We had a Tiramisu Mousse Cake (RM 14) and a cup of Cappuccino (RM 9). Tiramisu is okay with soft texture but the tiramisu scent was not strong enough to give me a wow expression. Not a bad choice to harp over at the cafe for a sweet treat considering the affordable dessert choices.
