Inclusion of cheese into dishes is getting popular of late. It is akin to a belief that every dish topped with cheese will definitely be a delicacy to enjoy. The latest restaurant to join the cheese frenzy is Kafe Singgah Rasa Seri Tandop, a Pakistani restaurant in Alor Setar. The freshly baked naan is topped with a generous quantity of shredded cheese, giving us a shocked face when the naan is served before us.Â
There are many varieties of Naan here but the one with cheese will be Snow Meleleh Cheese Naan (RM 17). The shredded cheese is akin snow flakes covering the big sized naan, and served along with a choice of curry, which we opted for curry chicken.Â
Eating the naan with cheese alone basically gives no hype. Only when the curry is added, the concoction gives a nice flavour.Â
Two of us cannot finish the naan actually as the size was huge!Â
