Fuku Eatery has a small menu for food selection, and more importantly the food is inexpensive if compared to other cafes relatively. We tried the Smoked Duck Mazemen (RM 14) and was delighted with its taste. Though smaller in portion, the noodles texture was al-dente with nice springiness and it has an elusive taste. Then the bowl is topped with nicely done smoked duck, along with ramen egg, sauteed mushrooms, tempura bits, steamed corn, spring onion and tori to give it a complete set of nutrients.

Omu Curry Rice with Tori Karaage (RM 17) is another decent choice as well. The curry taste was just nice, not too spicy nor too bland. It was a perfect combination when the rice is combined with the curry and the fluffy omu.

Kaiju (RM 16)

Drinks seems to be the focus of the cafe as it has a wider selection that the food. Cappucino was alright, though it still has a distance to match with those cafe that serves excellent coffee in Penang. Kaiju on the other hand, is a cup of uji matcha milk tea with milo mountain and tapioca pearls. We are not experts in identifying the good or normal matcha but somehow we feel there was something amiss with the matcha, probably the milk has rendered the taste changes. Only a few tapioca pearls for our enjoyment though in the drink.

Then we also took a stroll at the neighbouring Love 18 Chocolate and purchase a liquor version as we really in love with the chocolate. Though pricey but this Malaysia made chocolate is something that we should be proud of.
