Papisz Cafe @ Sunway Tunas, Bayan Lepas, Penang

Tucked away in the Sunway Tunas commercial lot in Bayan Lepas, Papisz Cafe is a hidden gem of locals' favourite for delicious yet affordable western dishes. From as low as RM 14.90, you get to enjoy a big platter of Chicken Chop, and a steak cut rib eye only cost RM 23.90.

Papisz Cafe is manned by Chef Fitri, a chap who was a professional banker turned chef due to his passion in culinary arts. He started his food business in Sungai Pinang as a hawker, then moved to the current location 2 years ago.

Chef Fitri accentuates on getting the diners at Papisz Cafe satisfied in terms of both quality and quantity. He believes that "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well". Therefore, the portion size of food here is relatively large yet without compromisation on the quality ingredients being used. 

For instance, all the sauces and mushroom soups are being made from scratch, allowing you to be rewarded with the authenticity of the palatal experiences here. 

A simple western dishes such as Lamb Chop or Chicken Chop can be tweaked to cater for your taste by flirting the proteins with different sauces available. 

If you are a cheese fanatic, you should definitely check out the mouthwatering dishes such as Chicken or Fish Parmigiana doused with torched cheese. Their homemade meatballs is one of the best you can find in the town with its bursting flavour and juicy texture.

Ramadan Buka Puasa Set

In conjunction with the Holy Ramadan month, Papisz Cafe has rolled out a Ramadhan Buka Puasa Juadah Set. The set is priced at RM 88 nett, available throughout the month of Ramadan (except on the first day of Ramadan).

The set includes 2 bowls of mushroom soup with breads, lamb chop, fish and chip, chicken chop,  cheese sausages, pasta and butter rice. It is served along with 2 cups of refreshing apple mint drinks for breaking fast. Best cater for a group between 2 - 4 pax.
