Bean Sprout Cafe is located at the beautiful rustic 2 storey heritage building, overseeing the historical Kuan Ying Teng Temple (Temple of Goddess of Mercy) on its second floor. Unwind yourself in the cozy ambiance of the cafe with a cup of nicely brewed coffee and some delicious western dishes.

A dining at the balcony area on second floor allows you to have a relaxed time amidst the bustling traffic outside the cafe while the lower floor provides an air-conditioned setting for you to escape the scorching hot weather.

Nestled among the bustling Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling is a modest eatery - Cafe Little Angel amidst all the trendy cafes in town. Serving simple local delicacies such as fried rice or noodles, porridge, Penang specialties Laksa, Prawn Mee and toasts, Cafe Little Angel is a popular destination for a quick fix of stomach amongst locals or students studying in nearby schools.

Nasi Kandar Beratur literally translated into "Queuing Rice". Whenever the stall opens at 10pm sharp at night, there will always be a long queue waiting for a plate of rice drenched with mixture of rich and spicy curries.

Waiting time may vary across 20 minute to an hour but this does not deter the Nasi Kandar enthusiasts flocked from all corners of Penang for it. The stall does open in the morning but is being operated by another owner, and the real Nasi Kandar Beratur only comes at 10pm every night.

A simple neighbourhood bakery to get some confectionery or snacks. There are tables and chairs provided should you need to take a break after strolling across Georgetown UNESCO heritage area.
