Hard Rock Hotel is ready to rock your Chinese New Year with meticulously crafted buffet dinner prepared exclusively by Chef Yoong Tay Heng aka Chef Heng, an Award Winning Chinese Cuisine Chef who represented Malaysia at the Chinese Cuisine World Championship 2017 and bagged the Chinese Cuisine Chef (Gold Medal) in Shenzhen, China in October 2017.

Starz Diner, the restaurant that hosts Rockin’ Reunion Buffet Dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year and Rock Prosperity Buffet Dinner on the first day of Chinese New Year will be embellished to give a heavenly dining atmosphere.

A designated Yee Sang station is setup to celebrate the beginning of Chinese New Year with a prosperity toss that symbolize abundance, prosperous and vigour.

Some of the mouth-watering dishes served on the buffet included roasted duck and chicken in carving stall, Nyonya hot & cold platters featuring chicken Loh Bak, Poh Piah Pie Tee, Homemade Poon Choi, Nyonya, Braised Whole Duck with Chinese Tea and Soya Sauce and more.

Some of the main dishes that are highly recommended by Chef Heng are Pumpkin Fried Rice with Abalone and Shrimp, Steamed Whole Chicken in Lotus Leaf, Crispy Duck with Plum Sauce, Stir Fried Sliced Beef with XO Sauce in Yam Ring, Nyonya Hot and Sour Fish, Wok Fried Flower Crabs with Nyonya Kapitan Sauce and some others.
