Be a gastronome and enjoy classic Western cuisine at the Victorian architectural elegance D' Fat Mona Lisa Cafe, a hidden mansion located along the bustling Jalan Kelawei.

The cafe practises a restaurant service concept. Upon parked your car at the designated car park or Uber your way here, you will be greeted by a friendly staff and their signature Charlie Chaplin statue at the door.

Western Inspired Menu

Influences of Western cuisine with a touch of Asian are essence of the menu, ranging from various proteins (chicken, seafood, meat), breakfast platters, pasta and of course vegetarian set.

Of the 6 different dishes we sampled, Mushroom Soup in Bread Bowl (RM 15.00) stood out with a fair balance of creaminess and developed mushroom scent, Smoked Duck Carbonara (RM 28.00) particularly intriguing with the nice creaminess and Crispy Almondine Fish (RM 28.00) is tricky to the palate with the subtle almond flavor imparted to the protein.

End the meal with one of the best dessert we have came across thus far - Lava Cake with Ice Cream (RM 20), which a deluge of chocolate lava oozes out upon slicing the crisp soufflé-like-cake. Best eaten along with a scoop of ice cream provided.

As Valentine Day is approaching, D' Fat Mona Lisa Cafe rolls out a Valentine set menu, featuring a sup, an appetizer, a main course (pick from 3 available selection), a Choocoalte Chip Lava Mould Cake and Honeydew's Sunset beverage for each of individual in the couple to let you celebrate this romantic day with your loved one like a duke and duchess in this elegant cafe. The set menu is priced at RM 138 nett for a couple.

Enjoy a Yee Sang tossing in style and some snacks with D' Fat Mona Lisa Cafe unique Prosperity Box (RM 138 nett) that can be shared between 4 - 6 pax, which is solely available at the Jalan Free School branch solely. The Prosperity Box is akin a box of surprise, as opening each drawer unveil the secret lies within.

The Prosperity Box also comes with hidden Ang Pow and each Ang Pow entitles you to win some gift, ranging from cash vouchers to free drinks which can redeem on the spot at the cafe.
