Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Rempah (RM10.90) |
The nasi lemak menu was so extensive that it offers up to 12 different types of nasi lemak, revolving around different side dishes and the price is wallet-friendly too, ranging from RM 5.90 to RM 14.90. We had a plate of Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Rempah (RM 10.90). No complain against the fried chicken, it was tender, smooth and juicy, and the sambal condiment was well executed too. However the anchovies served was soggy and that is the only item that needs to be addressed.
Korea Kimchi Noodle with Cheese (RM 14.90) |
The book sized menu nevertheless has a sheer list of dishes with soup only. Desperate for hot soup to cool the body during a cold night, we went for Korea Kimchi Noddle with Cheese (RM 14.90). In fact, it is a luxury version of Korea instant noodles, topped with sausages, enoki mushrooms, eggs, kimchi and cheese. The taste was alright.
Sambal Cheese Toast (RM 4.50) |
Village Kitchen seems popular on producing different types of toast and we were eager to try them. Sambal Cheese Toast (RM 4.50). It gives a balance of cheesy and spicy taste, though the cheese layer detaches from the toast easily.
Village Cham Ice (RM 2.80), nice blend of coffee and tea |
