Grilled Hummus Quesadillas

The limited vegetarian menu features 4 different dishes for vegetarian lovers, all at RM 35.00 nett.

We tried Grilled Hummus Quesadillas, which comes with spiced and grilled flour tortilla, filled with garlic, herb hummus, sauteed spinach, sun dried tomatoes and black olives. Unlike the usual quesadillas which blasted a mouthful of cheese, the vegetarian version tasted greenish and leafy. The creaminess of quesadillas still there, partly contributed by the herb hummus. The addition of black olives in the dish just feel nice and somehow elevated the overall taste.

Original Legendary Burger (RM 56)

Hickory BBQ chicken and beef ribs (RM 90)

One of the popular option here would be Original Legendary Burger. The luxury burger comes with a beef patty with the doneness level of your choice, or you may substitute it with a perfectly grilled 1/2lb chicken breast.

The reason we define it as luxury because it was topped with seasoned turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, golden fried onion ring, and other ingredients for seasoning. Overall the burger taste was good, and it was served along a cup of fries.

Hard Rock Cafe Penang is also known to churn out some awesome protein. To give a taste of all, order their Hickory-Smoked Barbecue Trio Combo, which consists of pulled lamb, beef ribs and chicken.

We felt in love with the beef ribs at first sight. It was well cleaned and had a big portion of juicy protein. Dip it into the sauce to give a total elevation of the overall beef taste. In fact, the beef ribs can be served as 3 servings for 3 people.

Meanwhile, the smoked chicken offers an awesome palatal reward. Although we left it there for cold for at least an hour, the meat still retained its tenderness and juiciness. If we were to do a head to head comparison, it was akin like Nando's chicken.

Never and ever miss out their signature dessert - Hot Fudge Brownie (RM 42.00). It is big enough to be shared among at least 3 people, with Vanilla ice cream and hot fudged on a fresh homemade brownie, topped with chopped walnuts, chocolate sprinkles, fresh whipped cream and a cherry. Although dessert is meant to be sweet, the hot fudge brownie here had the sweetness level just right on the level, and whipped cream quantity was sufficient without causing any surfeit feelings.

Strawberry Basil Lemonade (RM 29)

On top of that, be proud and order a cup of drink which will be served with the signature Hard Rock's guitar. As a matter of fact, we were overwhelmed with the choices of drinks here.

We were introduced to Strawberry Basil Lemonade, a refreshing and cooling drink. It has muddling of fresh strawberries and basil with made-from-scratch lemonade. For coffee cocktails, there are a few fine brewed coffee with different cream-based liqueurs for your selections.
