There are plenty of Bazaar Ramadan ongoing in Penang Island during the month of Ramadan, and this times our taste buds brought us to Bazaar Ramadan at Tun Sardon, Gelugor. Stalls are setup outside of the community hall of Tun Sardon, whereby you can find the famous Sulaiman Capati as well.Â
The bazaar is smaller in size if compared to the one at Bayan Baru but fret not, your taste buds will be tantalized by the varieties of food selection here. Moreoever, it does not cause a big damage to your wallet by getting on a shopping spree at Bazaar Ramadan.
It was about 5:45pm when we capture the above picture and people are thronging the bazaar to purchase the food and drinks for breaking fast. Such a huge crowd!Â
Both our heart and taste buds were caught by the variety of kuih-muih selling at this stall. A packet of 4 pieces of kuih is selling at RM 2, and the taste is great.Â
More and more assortment of food in the Bazaar. From the sorts of grilled food, dishes, curries to appease your taste buds. We were not fasting on that day but we were intrigued to try all of them!
Spotted this Koay Teow Th'ng Special stall. It was sold out when we were to buy it at about 6:15pm. Must be something taste real good.Â
After seeing the actions of the chefs in preparing the food, we were tempted to purchase some for the feast later.Â
