Located in a 2 storey colonial pre-war shop house along Love Lane, You Le Yuan provides a close proximity staying place to all the actions at Georgetown UNESCO heritage area, yet surprisingly serve as a sanctuary shielded from the bustling main streets during your sojourn in Penang. The homely boutique staying place has 4 individually decorates suites, furnished with Peranakan and mid-century art decor furniture from the owner's private collection.

Stepping into each of the 4 individual suites gives a very personalized homey feeling, with traits of cultural heritage living could be sensed. All suites have timber louvered windows, opening either onto Love Lane or into You Le Yuen's courtyard. Let it be family travelers or couples, indulgence in comfort and good time are almost a sure thing here. Newly wed may give a serious thought of shooting vintage wedding portraiture here, differentiating your once in a life time memory albums from others. The entire You Le Yuen can be rented to cater for big groups rendezvous as well.
The kitchen at You Le Yuen also churns out some interesting and exquisite Northern India and local fusion dishes, and guests can enjoy the delicacies in the dining area or open lounge permeated by the sense of heritage feel. Besides, private dining session can be arranged here via appointment 2 days in advance here, with a minimum of 5 attendees.
Other than that, the cozy bar allows one to enjoy a quiet beer, some home made juices or brewed coffee after a worn out travelling day.Â
You Le Yuan also features their very own boutique, carrying their in house label "Angelique" with a range of uniquely homemade clothing from crochet dresses, vintage lace dresses, scarves, festival fashion and home decor. Besides, interesting handmade products, books and some unique artifacts are sold here, while local artists are given the opportunity to display their gifted art works in the building. It serves as an ultimate destination for bohemian clothing, handmade products and curios.Â

Do they serve meal for the public?? Or this is basically only for the in house guests?

DeleteI had the opportunity to stay here during Christmas weekend on 26-28 December 2020. It was an incredible experience and very excellent hospitality. Loved the place (except the occational mosquito and leak on the balcony when it rains).
