When we mentioned this cafe name "KOPI by Comic Coffee" to our friends residing nearby and seeking her feedback, she told us all the while she thought it is a mamak stall. Determined to prove she was wrong, we brought her there and let her witness KOPI by Comic Coffee is just another cafe next door located within the Setia Alam Neighbourhood, though with a rather irregular name.Â
When we first stepped into the cafe, it gave us a container-alike feeling. The ambience was nice but the air circulation could be further improved as we did feel a slight sultriness.Â
The cafe did serve some interesting coffee, such as Rose Latte (RM 10.90) and Nutella Latte (RM 10.90). Nevertheless, we still prefer conventional coffee as the coffee scent was somehow lacking.Â
We thought their Mushroom Vege Panini (RM 13.90)Â was well done. The panini sandwich bread was fluffy, and the filling which included a poached egg and sauteed mushroom yielded awesome taste.
The waffles all come with funky names. For instance, Orang Utan (RM 16.90) had bananas, kiwis, strawberries and grapes as toppings, plus a scoop of vanilla ice cream. In fact, it looked more like a dessert to us.Â
Blueberry Yogurt Cheese (RM 10.90)Â was okay and we enjoyed the cheesy taste.Â
