Although Cinta Sayang Resort cafes might look exclusively for its guests to dine in and enjoy a scrumptious lunch dinner but this had been the wrong perception. The cafes are opened for anyone to dine in in fact, and every Saturday night there is a steamboat dinner offered at Chips & Bites Cafe, the outdoor bar with sweeping views of the golf course.

Priced at RM 35.00 nett per person for the steamboat, we thought that is a good bargain as the settings to enjoy the steamboat is great. Though located at outdoors with just fans, the natural air circulated is well sufficient to provide the breeze to patrons and enjoy the piping hot steamboat with minimum sacrificing of sweat droplets.

As usual, two types of soup are provided - chicken and tomyam soup. Personally, we thought the soup was rich in flavour and appeasing to our taste. Tomyam soup is burning hot with a sharp ending while the chicken soup had an intense chicken flavour.

Ingredients for the steamboat were prepared separately on the other side of the restaurant. Patrons can take unlimited quantity of the food provided you can finish it. On a sidebar note, the restaurant should deserve a compliment for replenishing everything on a fast pace.

An array of seafood and fishball are provided. We were pleased with the selection offered as they are as fresh as just taken from the seawater moments ago. Even the fishball served are delicious., which surprised us as we tend to avoid picking fishball during steamboat session as they tasted ordinary. Therefore, at the price tag of RM 35 per pax, it is worth the money paid.

A variety of cakes and desserts are served for at the side also for those having a big stomach. That was too much sweet thing for us! To comply with Malaysian's culture, ais kacang and cendol are available too.
