Auchentoshan was the most easy to go on palate among the 3, while Bowmore should be tried at the very last due to its distinctive taste. For Bowmore, it is either you like it or you dislike it. |

Cheese Board: 4 types of cheese with plain crackers & spring onion (RM 26 for small, RM 49 for large)
Cheese would vary depending on the cheese available. |
Grapes & Malts offers the simple options of food that perfect to complement the wine and whisky. It is noteworthy that the food uses the freshest ingredients that replenished daily, lightly seasoned with some might use only Himalaya natural sea salt to give it a little flavour, not taking away the sparks of the drinks. The portion basically come in the tapas size for the ease in sharing with family and friends. If you stomach has some room after wine and tapas, you may check out their mains such as aglio e olio which will surely satisfy the hunger.
We started with their house specialty of Cheese Board. We were introduced in a unique way of enjoying the wine. First, pick your cheese, cut out a small slice to top your cracker. Take a small bite of cracker with cheese, munch it with spring onion without swallowing anything. Then, take a sip of wine and enjoy that zest in a mouthful. The foods then take away the wine's tannin sensation, and further enhance the wine's aroma.
