Cendol, being one of the traditional dessert in South East Asia (SEA), it has been an irresistible dessert among the locals. Though the green starched jelly noodles and coconut milk are the key ingredients in cendol dessert, there are still differences among the SEA country. Even between the Malaysia's towns too, there are still slight differences. Be it for the reason to stand out from the rest, or due to local preference.
Driving from Kepala batas to the way of Jitra, you will find their shop on your left, right opposite the Kepala Batas Pos office. Durian and Mango Cendol Pulut, both are their signature. The addition of these fruits and the fun colour presentation of their cendol have been making the crowds wanting to experience it themselves. Though the shop name mentioning cake, we could not find cake in their menu except Cendol and Laksa.

It is captivating to find their cendol served in such joyful colours. Besides the default green and red colour from jelly noodle and red bean respectively, the pulut is made in blue, while the jelly in sweet ruby tone and harmonized with yellow using either durian or mango. All these colourful ingredients floating in the ice white coconut soup is so wonderful on the visual. Just the upbeat colours itself already reduces our heats suffering from the summery weather. Their mango was sweet and aromatic,but we were not quite sure how to appreciate the cendol itself. However, it is worth the try, at least it is picture worthy for social media.
