There are a number of mee udang restaurant at Sungai Dua, and one of the popular one is Sri Tambang. Our last visit to Aur Gading has brought us a positive impression of having a plate of tomato-ry mee kuah with your pick of fresh seafood. 3 types of seafood offered for add on here: prawn, crab and fish. The price depends on the weight of seafood you picked. For your main, you may opted for mee goreng or kuah with the noodle option of mee/meehun/koay teow. Of course, if you must have rice for your meal, they have fried rice as well.
We were there for second round of dinner thus we picked 2 pieces of Udang Kertas (RM 8.40 for 120g), to go along with mee kuah (RM 4) Noodle and bean sprout with cabbage drown in their tomato stock, compliment with fresh tomato slices and half piece of boiled egg. The soup was a little spicy but more towards the sweet side, flavour was rich but in the thin way. A squeeze of lime gave it a refreshing touch with the tomato.
