JDogHouse & Cafe @ Arena Curve, Bayan Lepas, Penang

Located at the new commercial shoplot Arena Curve, Bayan Baru, JDog House & Cafe welcomes you with more than a welcome sign - their rare breed of residence dogs!

We had a wonderful afternoon there, spending a short stint with their ever agile and friendly Jerry the Samoyed, cool yet zealous Joyi the Husky, mischievous Jasmine the Dachshund, Jessy & Jaco the King Charles, Janet the American Cocker Spanial, the shy and slow to warm Jinger the Husky, and the hairy 2 months years old JayBoss the Tibetan Mastiff. We have started to miss the moment there while reviewing their pictures.

The cafe spanned across 2 units, with a quarter of the area well contained for dining and another quarter of the area selling pets nutritions and tools. Naturally, most of the patrons to the cafe including us are into their dogs playground, whereby the fun begins with all their residence dogs!

Nonetheless, do remember to sanitize your hand prior entering the area and admission ticket is one drink per person.

It will be an unforgettable session in the dogs playground where you get to touch, play and cuddle with their residence dogs! The fluffy Jerry will welcomed us will a big smile, while Joyi and Jinger might be slow to warm. Well, the 4 energetic little pups - Jessy, Jasmine, Jaco and Janet were like just given a shot of adrenaline we walked in, signalled by their non stop tails waggling.

Lets have a look at their residence dogs first:

The 4 small pups found a new toy upon our arrival. As soon as they spotted my orange bag on the couch, they seized it away from me and proclaimed it as their newly acquired assets. I totally lost control ownership to the bag.

Well, I think the big brother Jerry and big sister Joyi could not bothered much about the 4 small pups.

Sometimes the dogs may even play among themselves also. Despite the ferocious face by Jessy, there was no casualties fortunately.

Then those energetic pups doze off moments later. The owner said they are too tired then will wake up shortly to continue playing around. About 30 minutes later, the dogs woke up and the playground is filled with cheerful sound again.

Drinks can be brought into the dog playground area but food has to be consumed here. JDogHouse & Cafe currently offers some desserts and coffee for diners. There was no main courses yet so if you have a plan to spend a long afternoon here, make sure you get something to fill the stomach first.

We had a cup of Ice Cube Latte (RM 14.00) and White Coffee (RM 12.00). The Ice Cube Latte is special in a sense that the coffee are contained within the ice cubes, so what we have to do is to pour the milk and water to dilute the ice cubes to enjoy the coffee. We think that is a pretty good idea, considering hours are not enough even to spend at the dogs playground with their residence dogs.
