A cafe with a rather unique name, 3 Leg Cat Cafe is one of the pioneer cafe at the southern part of Penang, granting the crowded population at Bayan Lepas or Relau, a chillax venue without having to travel to Georgetown. Although the name 3 Leg Cafe gestated a handicapped cat, there are merely some display of cat toys inside the cafe. In fact, the owner's son is an anime geek, featuring a broad display of anime toys on a special rack in the cafe.

At 3 Leg Cat Cafe, one would be ensured to enjoy the food made of fresh ingredients from market daily. Everything from scratch is handpicked and procured by the chef himself due to his insistence. If certain ingredients run out, the dish would be off de-listed from the menu that day.

Three types of waffles are offered by the cafe with different toppings - egg & bacon, caramelized bananas and strawberry chocolate. A designation is put up for each of the variety, for example Ms Strawberry Choco Waffle (RM 14). The waffles were nicely done and fluffed well, then topped with thinly sliced strawberry and sprinkles of chocolate chips.

Another variety of waffle appears to have a much colossus name - Sir Bacon & Egg Waffle (RM 16). 2 pieces of decently grilled bacon and scrambled egg is sandwiched between the waffles. Drip some honey onto the dish to yield an unique taste combined of salty and sweet.

Individuals whom have a predilection for extreme salty and sour taste would be strongly recommended to try Spicy Thai Chicken Sauce (RM 20). A substantial quantity of garlic was used to fry the rice, resulted a well scented delectable fried rice. Sweet and sour Thai sauce is used as condiment topping the fried chicken cutlet, further enhanced the presently succulent fried poultry.

For a much localized meal enjoyment, go for their Curry Nasi Lemak Kok Kok Rice (RM 16). It comes with a standard serving of conventional coconut rice, alongside with a spoonful of anchovies, peanuts, cucumber slices, poached egg, sambal and rendang chicken. The rendang chicken breast is packed with robustly spices and chili mixture, resulting an intense pleasing and flavorful meat. Amazingly, the chicken still possess a crispy skin.

The Pork Burger (RM 16) is crowned with a layer of half melted cheese, which perfectly counterweight the meaty patty. A poached egg (RM1) and bacon (RM 2) are added optionally to further garnish and complement the dish. A special sauce, which mimics BBQ sauce is served separately and can be used to dunk the patty or French fries.

For a more Westernized dish, go for their their Smoked Duck & Bacon Spaghetti (RM 20). The entire bowl of spaghetti is compacted with an array of ingredients such as smoked ducks, bacon, cherry tomatoes and then sprinkled with cheese powder.
