[TAIPEI 台北] Day 9: Yi mian noodles, 85 Degree Cafe 归绥街意面王, 85 度 C 咖啡蛋糕烘焙專賣店

The restaurant Yi Mian Noodles looked very familiar to us when we were wandering at Datong area but we never stepped into the restaurant. Later on we googled Yi Mian Noodles, we came to realization that we missed out a decent food! Hence to prevent regret later, on the last morning prior going back to Malaysia, we purposely took MRT to Beimen just for a brunch here.

我们在大同区游荡时，看到这家意面感觉很有熟悉感但我们却没踏进这餐厅。过后闲下来，网上搜搜这家意面，发现网上好评！以免以后后悔，在回马来西亚的那天，我们特地搭捷运来到北门吃午餐。

As the restaurant name suggested, we ought to order their signature Yi noodles (30 NTD). The texture of the noodles were chewy, the noodles were pleasant in taste and eating it alone without any condiments were just nice. It comes with sweet chili sauce for those who prefer a stronger taste but we were fine without it.

店名都叫意面王，当然来碗招牌意面（30新台币）。面的口感咬劲十足，只是面捞酱就好好吃了。店员也有提供甜辣椒酱，如果喜欢口味更重一点就可以加，但我们觉得不用加了，味道刚刚好。

Wanton Yi Noodles (50 NTD) taste alike our wanton mee in Malaysia, with the soup slightly catered for individual who prefers a salty taste. Dry version of yi noodles would better in terms of showcasing the springiness of the noodles.

馄饨意面（50新台币）吃起来像马来西亚的，汤有些咸。我们还是比较喜欢干的意面，因为味道和面的口感比较爽。

Their fishball soup (35 NTD) was different from others as the fishballs come with meat fillings. We have to say this is one of the biggest fishball we have come across, and the texture of the fishballs were akin like buns soaked in soup.

鱼丸汤（35新台币）很特别，好大的一颗鱼丸，里面包含着肉馅。我们特别喜欢那鱼丸，软到像包子。

Yi Mian Noodles is famous of its affordable price which we have testified and there is always a crowd waiting here. The shop is quite small and do have a feeling squeezing here there during dining here.

意面王也是出名在价格平民。那天我们光顾的时候，店都坐满了人，加上店面不大，所以我们就和别人公用桌子。

We saw a shop selling cold noodles opposite the Yi Mian restaurant and since we were deeply in love with this dish upon trying it at convenience store, we would like to taste this manmade dish tastes like. Anyhow, we were not full as portion at Yi Mian restaurant was rather small.

Of course the cold noodles (30 NTD) were served cold, and the noodles were not clumped together like the one we had at convenient store. It obviously taste better and made us wonder where could we get the best cold noodles at Taiwan?

在意面王对面，有一家卖凉面的餐厅。我们特爱凉面，在seven就吃了几次了，我们就想尝尝不是机器包装的凉面是如何的。加上，我们在意面王里没吃饱，份量太少了。

凉面（30新台币）凉凉的，面条分明，显然比较好吃过我们在便利商店吃的。我们在想，台湾最好吃的凉面在哪儿呢？

During our few days at Taipei, we realised this 85 Degree Bakery has been mushrooming in Taiwan and it is almost present at every neighborhood. Curiosity drove us there to order a cheese cake (38 NTD), which is really affordable and signature cold coffee regular size (60 NTD). Quite a decent choice to get an excuse to rest our exhausted leg.

我们在台北的那几天，我们发现85°C到处可见。好奇心驱使下就跑去点了起司蛋糕（38新台币）和招牌冰咖啡（60新台币）。价钱很平民，而且如果你走累了，可以来这儿享受咖啡休息。
