Recommended by CNNGO, this hokkien mee should have a solid taste to garner such recognition. Located at the end of Jalan C.Y. Choy and intersect with Jalan Magazine, it is a stand alone stall which sells hokkien mee only. The boss currently is at his mid-70s but still actively ready his stall by 6:30am morning to prepare a pipping hot hokkien mee for the regulars. It is one of the authentic hokkien mee that worth all the travelling hassles that you may encounter to come here.

Remarks: we had this hokkien mee at 2014 and only realised we forgot to put it into writing recently.

The hokkien mee (RM4.00) has a rather clear red colour soup compared to the usual hokkien mee which has strong or heavy colour. This definitely translates into its taste as it possesses a fresh sweetness and clear taste soup. The generous amount of fried shallots added also enhanced the taste. To preserve the original taste and its taste, try not to add chilli paste provided into it.

You can request to top up for some other food elements such as pork innards, fish balls or meat balls at your own expenses. 

The coffee shop has a rather limited space, and may get crowded during peak hours.
