After a short visit at Plearnwan Eco Village, we hailed a motor taxi to Villa Market for 50 baht/pax to go to Hua Hin Hills Vineyard. It was actually a short distance and we somehow felt we were being conned for such a high price for the short distance.
One of the main reasons that drew us to Hua Hin is Hua Hin Hills Vineyard. Spanning across a land of 500 acres at 140-210 metres above sea level, it offered great opportunity to decompress yourself by enjoying the scenic view of vineyard and engage in various activities there.

The
management of the vineyard provided round trip shuttle bus services from Villa
market at 300 baht per person. The van departs at 10:30am or 3:00pm and returns
at 2:00pm or 6:00pm daily. We thought reservation for the shuttle bus is a must
but our emails were neglected. Upon calling to confirm with the staff at Hua
Hin Hills Vineyard, they just told us to wait at Villa Market before the
departure time to loop to the shuttle bus. However, it would be better to call
them at +66 (0) 81 701 0444 for assurance.

Upon
arrival, the staff guided us to the Sala, Hua Hin Hill’s Vineyard only
restaurant cum bistro and was served a glass of grape juice. The scenery here
was great.
Enjoying life |
Whilst
enjoying the scenery, we ordered a set of premium wine tasting set (650 baht)
as we were still full to take in any more main meals. It comes with Monsoon
Valley Shiraz paired with smoked duck breast, Monsoon Valley White Shiraz
paired with lobsters with frozen red curry and Monsoon Valley Colombard paired
with chilled crab meat with apple timbale.
We had zero
knowledge on wine and just pretended to be elites, relishing the wine and relax
there.
There are
some other activities rather than wine tasting here. They have complimentary
jeep tour at 1pm and 4pm, while elephant riding, bottle painting and mountain
biking comes with a fee.

The whole
atmosphere at Hua Hin Hills Vineyard was very relaxing. It is a great away from
the routine life.
Other than
the shuttle bus service provided by the management of Hua Hin Hills Vineyard,
you may hail a taxi or tuk tuk there as well and the fees are definitely
higher. However if you travel in a group then it may become a cheaper option. You may request the drivers to drive you to
Huay Mongkol Temple and Pala-U
Waterfalls.
We departed back to Hua Hin town at 6pm and going to have a great dinner there before starting the shopping spree at night market.
