Medan Selera Mutiara Hawker Centre @ Tanjung Bungah, Penang

Medan Selera Mutiara, a hawker centre in Tanjung Bungah is another decent place to have your dinner. Housing about 20 stalls operated by owners from different races, a variety of local delicacies such as nasi lemak, satay, tomyam, burgers, chicken rice, western food, Chinese zhu char are available here.

A simple Special One Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang comes with crispy anchovies and half an egg topped with spicy and pleasant sambal.

Special One Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang (RM 2), with fragrance rice cooked with coconut milk and wrapped in banana leaves is available at the far left corner of the hawker centre. Different side dishes such as fishes, chickens and hotdogs are available to be picked for add-on the the simple nasi lemak, with each of the different add-on will be named after a famous European football club. Topping the list would be Chelsea Champion, a Chelsea supporter perhaps?

Tomyam Campur (RM 5) from Zie Tomyam. Served piping hot in a mixture of slices of chicken, prawns and squid, with moderate level of sourness and spiciness is a pleasure to have during a cold night, otherwise be prepared to get sweaty during hot day.
