Tucked within the old building at Lebuh Melayu, just next to Ping Hooi Cafe where you find Tiger Char Koay Teow. Al dante Koay Teow Th'ng is sold in the morning while Duck Porridge in the noon. Best time to try both would be between 11.30am to 12pm. In this golden half hour, if you are lucky, everything in the menu would be available. This is because their Koay Teow Th'ng usually sold off very quick.
Duck Koay Teow Th'ng, the trademark of the cafe, tender duck meat served with silky smooth koay teow, topped with aromatic garlic flakes. The broth was flavorful and we would rank the overall above average.
Duck Porridge pretty similar with Koay Chiap.We believe the gamy smell coming from the duck and the gravy could be a little bit hard to accept by most, but Koay Chiap fans should love it.
