Edo Ichi which is also under the same group with Azuma which I have visited before here. I personally find Edo Ichi better than Azuma in term of choices and tastes. More choices mean their menu would be thick and it would spend you sometime to flip through before placing your order, especially if this is your first visit. The ambiance just like the other, with sashimi bar, Japanese curtains and etc. Price wise, its slightly towards the pricey side.
A sinful bowl of Shake Don (RM28), generous amount of salmon slices were given. The orange colour pop eggs were so nice! Enjoyed its explosion in my mouth and savour the little bit salty juice released from its capsule.
Kimuchi Ramen (RM 18), the soup wasn't impressive on first sip, however as you goes along with its ramen, it was quite scrumptious too. Their chicken roll was tender and soak with its gravy soup. Portion wise, it would be a bit too much for petite stomach.
Unagi Somen (RM 32) might looks plain, but surprisingly good. I found the half cooked egg on top of the unagi and cold thin wheat noodles makes it standout from ordinary soba. The dipping sauce was great and the unagi was aromatic.
Chicken Katsu Curry (RM 20.00), the deep fried breaded chicken was crunchy, and the gravy curry sauce was so scented. However, as you goes on, 'jelakness' will soon take over.
Very huge plate of Taru Taru Chicken Katsu (RM 15), the taru sauce made a great contrast to the crunchy deep fried breaded chicken.
Nasu Miso Itame (RM12), the pan fried brinjal was a little different from the picture in the menu. The picture shown that the brinjal was cut into shred, while the one arrived on our table was cut into bigger pieces. Anyway, the soya bean paste and sesame still made the brinjal a great and less-sinful snack.
Shake Tataki Maki (RM 28) on the left was a lot flavorsome comparing to Una Cheese Maki (RM 35) on the right. For Shake Tataki Maki, crab stick, cheese and vege were wrapped inside the sushi and surfaced with salmon. The difference of Una Cheese Maki is where it's sushi was topped with smoked unagi and cheese. I found this particular unagi wasn't impressive.
Salmon Belly Teriyaki (RM 28) came in four pieces, the salmon's skin was so crunchy that makes every bite so succulent. Don't worry, its not as fattening as pork belly do.
Chicken Teriyaki Jyu (RM 20) & Scallop Fried Rice (RM 12), I am sorry that I missed out tasting these.
